The quality manager prime responsibility shall be to ensure the compliant delivery of project activities.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing advice on quality of design and installation matters.
Managing the audit construction activities for compliance with procedures and quality plan.
Establishing an understanding of relevant legislation and regulations as applied to gas or electric transmission projects.
Understanding the requirement for a capability and competency assessment systems.
Carrying out reviews of certification and documentation to support the project handover records.
Providing an understanding of the importance of best practice and lessons learned.
Your experience, knowledge and skills need to include:
Minimum 5-7 years relevant experience.
Experience in preparing and reviewing quality and inspection plans.
Experience in the production and review of RAMS and works procedures.
Expert knowledge in the development of quality systems.
Awareness of health, safety and environment best practice.
Good communication skills.
Degree qualified with a minimum of 5 years relevant industry experience or HNC/HND qualified with a minimum of 7 years relevant industry experience.
Professional memberships are an advantage but are not essential.
IRCA ISO9001 lead auditor trained.
EUSR safety passport.
SCO awareness training (gas projects only).
CDM awareness training.
IOSH – Managing Safety Certificate.
SUSA/ESD awareness training.
